  • I'm proud to say that George Daly was my Grandpa, and he was the best grandpa any kid could ask for. Some kids only dream of being given a pony, but my grandpa gave me 2! well, one pony and one quarter-horse ;)

Like everyone who knew him, I will never forget his stories, his cursing, his roof-shaking laugh and accompanying stream of tears, and his love of dancing. My grandpa wouldn't take "no" for an answer, when it came to living-room dance-lessons. I don't know how many times my little shoes scuffed up the shine on his while I rode on his footsteps, swing dancing the night away...

If there's one thing he taught me, and there are many things he has taught me, its to "be who you are, be unashamed of who you are, and be it LOUD."

I love and miss you so much, Grandpa... <3 Hatti
