  • I am saddened by Scott's passing. One of the most-memorable days of my life was spent in a fishing boat with Scott in northern Minnesota. We laughed so much we had to drink lake water just to replenish our tears. He had an attitude and a presence that made everybody around him perk up and feel better. We miss you Scott. Happy trails... ~ Cliff Johnson Chaska, Minnesota (4/28/2005)
  • I am saddened to hear of Scott's passing. It was my pleasure to work with him years ago at Miller Publishing. It was his first job out of college. He was blessed with a high energy personality and a smile that could warm a Minnesota winter day. I can still hear the beginning of his answer when he was asked a question."Well..." He will be missed by many. ~ Paul Soli 7894 Irish Ave. So., Cottage Grove, MN 55016 (4/28/2005)
  • I knew Scott at Miller Publishing and when we were both starting out in our careers in advertising. I always admired his talent and style. He had a very magnetic personality. I was saddened to hear of his passing. Best wishes to his family. ~ Mark Stuhlfaut 10173 Lafayette Lane, Dimondale, MI 48821 (4/28/2005)
  • Our sympathies to all who knew and appreciated Scott. I had the privilege of working with a young Scott for a short time at the Webb Publishing company. His energy and creativity are legendary.

  • I wanted to express my sympathies to the Hildebrandt family. I am a voice from the DISTANT past! Scott was in my class the two years I went to Wall School. Vernice was my principal and Dakota was a cheerful face for many years at the Drug Store. I just felt so sorry when I heard both Scott and Dakota had passed away and wanted to let you know I was thinking of you! ~ Margaret Jensen Rhodes 992 S. Hampton Ct., Auror, IL 60506 (4/28/2005)
  • Being a thirteen year schoolmate of Scott's was a pleasure and provided many fond memories. Following school in Wall, I used to stay with Scott in Brookings when USD(where I attended college) and SDSU would play each other in sports. When I moved to Saint Paul in late 1981, Scott was extremely helpful in getting us acquainted with people and places in the Twin Cities. Because of him, we ended up residing in Saint Paul, near where Scott lived at that time. We attended many gatherings and had lots of fun together. He is gone way too soon and we will miss him. Our condolences go out to his family. ~ Jim and Kristie Estes 1162 Portland Ave., Saint Paul, MN 55104 (4/28/2005)
