Carl C. Wampler

of Philip, South Dakota, died on Thursday, December 14, 1995 in Denver, Colorado at the age of 38

Carl C. Wampler was born October 6, 1957, at Philip, South Dakota, the son of Carl C. and Marjorie A. (Schmidt) Wampler.

He grew up in the Philip area and graduated from Philip High School in 1975.  As a young man he attended the Vo-Tech School in Rapid City, to study carpentry for two years.  He graduated from the University of South Dakota at Vermillion with a business degree.

Carl returned to Philip where he worked with his mother at Wampler Lumber Yard, a position he held until the time of his death.

Carl was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Philip.

Grateful for having shared his life are his mother and step-father Marjorie and Jim Ingram of Philip; two sisters, Annette Tulenko and her husband, Al, of Chicago, Illinois; and Dr. Mary Ann Wampler and her husband, Dr. Phil Bierman, of Omaha, Nebraska; two nieces, Marianne and Jennifer Wray of Chicago, Illinois, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Wampler, on January 17, 1981.

A memorial is established.
