Grace Stotts was born on July 1, 1931, in Okaton, South Dakota, to Roy and Mary (Marshall) Stotts. She grew up and received her education in the Okaton area.
Grace was united in marriage to Wendell Hagan on September 4, 1948, in Pierre, South Dakota. They made their home in Keystone, South Dakota, for a year prior to moving to a ranch north of Midland. In 1969 they moved into Midland but continued to operate the ranch until 1991. Grace and Wendell continued to reside in Midland after that.
Grace was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Midland.
Survivors include her husband, Wendell, of Midland; one son, Larry Hagan, of St. Cloud, Minnesota; two daughters, Mary (Terry) Hulce of Rapid City, and Peggy (Mike) Martin of North Pole, Alaska; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; three brothers, Roy Stotts, of Murdo, Carl Stotts of Missoula, Montana, and Harold Stotts of Okaton; five sisters, Ada Fedderson of Spearfish, Helen Root of Casper, Wyoming, Mary (Tom) Jones of Midland, Alice Mae Fosheim of Irving, Texas, and Lois McFall of Labelle, Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
