of Kadoka, South Dakota, died on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the Kadoka Nursing Home at the age of 84
Esther May Dillow was born on June 11, 1936 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Morris and Mabel (Clemmons) Barden.
Esther lived an adventurous life and was blessed with seven children. They filled her life with pride and joy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. No matter what ups and downs life threw at her, Esther met them with a smile on her face.
The biggest smiles came each time she was informed that she was going to be blessed with a new grand or great grandchild. She held great pride and bragged always about her grand and great-grandchildren and their accomplishments.
Esther had many hobbies. She loved crafting and playing games.
Grateful for having shared her life are her children; Cheryl McGuern, Willard (Gloria) Strache, Carolyn (Butch) Gleason, Peter (Debra) Kirscher, Lucinda (Jim) Griffin, Peggy (Tom) Sumpter, and Oliver (Cathy) Kirscher; 18 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Dillow in 2003; siblings, Rose Robinson, Florence Richardson, and Wayne Barden; and her parents Mabel Rivera and Morris Barden.
