Joan Marie Fortune Covington was born April 1, 1945 and went to be with Jesus on July 14, 2020.

Survivors include her mother Edna Fortune; five brothers; four children; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father Jack Fortune, daughter Donna Covington, and grandson Michael Fallin.

Joan was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. Always showing selflessness and love in every aspect of her life. She was a blessing to everyone she met and always put others needs ahead of her own. Everyone around her were made better because of her love and devotion. Joan will be sorely missed.

A private family burial took place next to her Dad on Sunday, September 6, at the Fortune Ranch near Quinn.
