God Saw You...
by Author Unknown

God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "Come to me".
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

We are so sorry for your great loss. We hope that you can find some comfort, knowing Mike is in a better place free from pain, and suffering.

All our love,
The Myers Family

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing, and yet he is now no longer so terribly sick and hurting. We never got to know him as well as we did Vicki, but I know from visiting with Frank & Roberta's family that he was one good person and a heck of a worker. Sounds like he left you with many wonderful memories and a hat full of pranks to reminice about in the days and weeks ahead. John & Brett have good times to remember too, though I'm sure they are hurting too. May our Good Lord wrap you up and hold you close. Turn to Him and we pray for good times for all of you. Over the last couple of weeks Mike was on my heart and my mind almost nonstop. As I celebrated Easter on Sunday, I couldn't help but think how he might be meeting the Lord Jesus in heaven very soon. What an amazing homecoming it must have been for him!!! He is no longer suffering and dancing in heaven I'm sure! We will miss Mike so much. So many have commented on his genuine kindness. He was such a kind person to all that he met. And he always had a way of making me smile and laugh, especially in high school. I remember many a time when he and Jared would hang out and come up with the STRANGEST ideas!! :) He dealt well with all us "girls" in the class of '92 with his laid back personality. I really have a hard time believing he's gone already. Much too young! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you grieve this loss. May God give you peace and strength in the days and weeks to come.

Vince and Mary, My heart is heavy for your loss. Mike was an amazing person but he was raised by amazing parents and a very loving family. There is one thing I have learned in life and that is that the good always die young. But I also believe God takes the most precious ones first, he has reasons for that, we may not know those reasons right now, but I believe at some point in life God always shows us what that reason is. I wish I could be there for the both of you. You will always be in my heart. My prayers at this difficult time. I send my love. Camille

Sorry I can't be with you all today, I have been thinking about Mike a lot the last few weeks, remembering all the good times from back in the day. It's always hard when someone I know dies from cancer because it makes me wonder when mine is going to come back, or why I am still alive and my friends aren't. Mike was the definition of tough and staying positive through the tough times, and find strength that so many people have been touched by his life. He was a good friend and will be missed by many people.
