Sheryl passed on to her heavenly home peacefully in John Knox Village Assisted Living in Lee’s Summit, MO on November 6, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by beloved husband, Bob, son, Tyler, and parents Francis and Wanda Guptill. Sheryl is survived by daughter Jill (Jason) St. John and their children Ezri and Alec; son Toby (Laura) Trohkimoinen and their daughters Ashley (Patrick) Schroyer and children Hayes and Ramey, and April (Logan) Stewart and children Ava and Nash; daughter-in-law Jill Trohkimoinen and sons Wyatt and Tel; brother Perry (Caroline) Guptill; brother Dale (Valerie) Guptill; sister Alice (Dave) Jones, along with many loving nieces, nephews, aunt, cousins, in-laws, and a host of long-time friends.
Sheryl’s love of God, her family, gardening, reading, pretty and old things will live on through all who knew and love her.
In lieu of flowers, it was Sheryl’s wish that people would deliver or send treats to a nearby care or assisted living facility. So wherever you are, please consider finding a facility near you that you could bless in honor of Sheryl. Her intention was to brighten the days of the residents, caregivers, and staff of those extraordinary places, some who may need a reminder that they are special to God and to us, and that who they are and what they are doing matters.

There are many wonderful memories of this lovely and kind person.
She was a positive support in many ways. Through Bible study, as
parents of similar age children and to our association at the Vale Post
Office where she worked for a short time. I regret that we lost touch over the last several years. She was God's gift to many. My deepest sympathies.
