David A. Farmer

of Martin, South Dakota, died on Thursday, August 3, 2017
at the Bennett County Hospital at the age of 63

David A. Farmer was born on February 28, 1954, to Ray and Lillian (Jacobs) Farmer at Saint Anthony's Hospital in Martin.

David graduated from Bennett County High School with the Class of 1972.

Many of David's ceramic angels that he made went to the Cancer Care unit in Rapid City where they touched so many lives.

David leaves behind to mourn his loss three sisters, Donna Jackson of Martin, Shirley Claussen (Robert) of Martin, Marilyn Brooks (Larry) of Black Hawk; one brother, Marvin Farmer (Maxine) of Rapid City; a dear friend, Rosanna Renuad of Martin; many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and nephews and a host of many close friends.

David was preceded by his parents, a sister, two brothers-in-law, and an uncle.

Forever in our hearts.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 9, at the Tuthill Presbyterian Church.

Interment will follow at the Community Cemetery.

A memorial has been set up at Security First Bank in Martin.

So Sorry to learn of David's death.
David was a earth angel.
He was kind,loving and very gifted.
We would visit often Postal meeting and on the phone daily.
David was always ready to help in any way.
I send his sister my prayers, and hope they will hold on to the loving memories.
