My heart aches for all of you. No words can be said or written that can stop the pain you are feeling but sharing how Travis touched my life, though I never really spoke with him as a friend helps me to grasp this huge loss that you, his family and all of the people whose lives he touched. I simply knew him through the McDonnell family. I saw him almost daily at Common Cents and he ALWAYS said hi and was pleasant and kind and when he would have one of his children with him the love between them was so evident. My prayer is that through the pain, the light of God's love will wrap around you and bring the comfort you need at this most difficult time. I am so, so very sorry for your loss.

Ever since we got word of Travis' death, our whole family has felt as if we've had the wind knocked out of us, so we can only mildly feel the pain that you are going through. Owen put it the best: "Me liked that guy." Tim has many fond memories of growing up as a classmate of Travis's, and knowing him has been a pleasure for our whole family! He will forever be held close in our hearts and in the hearts of all those he touched--of which there are MANY! We pray for comfort and healing by the hand of our God and Father as you grieve the loss of your dear loved one!

I wish there was something I could do to help comfort all who are hurting, but know this, I am a better person for knowing Travis the little I did, and I am sure his close friends are twice the people they once were for knowing him. May God help comfort the McDonnell family.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Our loving creator has provided hope and comfort to help us through such difficult times. Isiah 33:24 promises a time when "no resident will say "I am sick".....John 5: 28,29 promises a resurrection.... Rev. 21:4 promises a time when there will be no pain, outcry or even death......The time will soon come when these scriptures will be fulfilled. In the meantime hold on to the memories of your loved one and prepare yourselves that you may be there to greet them when the time comes.

I remember watching Travis playing football when I was a kid and how awesome he was. He was a hero of ours, someone you wanted to be like on and off the field, and that is how I will always remember him. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this extremely difficult time. Please find comfort in the Lord. Travis will be missed dearly but he can live on through all of you. God be with the entire family, friends, and community alike.

I didn't know Travis as well as I wished I could have. Whether it was at the kart track or the speedway, He was always someone I looked up to. Im going to miss seeing him in the pits and watching him race. My deepest sympathy goes out to the McDonnell family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
