In memory of

Nora Rose Wyman

of Reno, Nevada, formerly of Midland, South Dakota, died on Monday, May 28, 1990 at her home in Reno, Nevada at the age of 55

Nora Rose Nemec was born August 16, 1934, at Pierre, South Dakota, to Edward and Elizabeth (Puryear) Nemec.

She grew up on her parents' farm in Stanley County north of Midland, South Dakota.  She attended Pheba Rural Elementary School in Stanley County prior to graduating from Midland High School in 1952.  She was baptized and confirmed in St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church of Midland.

Nora attended Black Hills Teachers College where she received her teaching certificate.  She taught for several years in rural schools in South Dakota.

Nora was united in marriage to Charles "Chuck" Wyman on June 4, 1956, at Midland, South Dakota.

They made their home in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, for several years prior to moving to Jamestown, North Dakota, where they owned and operated Kenny's Western Motel for a number of years.

In the mid-1980's they moved to Reno, Nevada, where they managed a retirement complex until the time of her death.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Charles Wyman, of Reno, Nevada; two sons, Randy Wyman of Blaine, Minnesota, and Martin Wyman of Reno, Nevada; three daughters, Bonnie Coughlin of Reno, Nevada, Patricia Sprout of Bismarck, North Dakota, and Susan Karsten of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota; eight grandchildren; seven brothers, Edward Nemec Jr. and Benjamin Nemec of Holabird, South Dakota, Joseph Nemec of Des Moines, Iowa, Leo Nemec of Little Fork, Minnesota, Anthony Nemec of Gillette, Wyoming, and Michael Nemec and Mark Nemec, both of Midland, South Dakota; nine sisters, Elizabeth Vander May of Longvalley, South Dakota, Sister Edna Nemec of Watertown, South Dakota, Frances Terkildsen of Kadoka, South Dakota, Wynn Bergeson of Fort Pierre, South Dakota, Pauline Bruce of Hayes, South Dakota, Christine Ryan of Tolna, North Dakota, Audrey Jones of Midland, South Dakota, Bernadette Knox of Highmore, South Dakota, and Rita Foreng of Pekin, North Dakota; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Nora was preceded in death by her parents, one sister in infancy, and one grandson in infancy.
