Shane Verlyn Ghost was born June 2, 1968, in Oakland, California, the loving son of Charlene Ceniceros and Leroy Ghost. Shane was the middle child from his older brother and younger sister. Shane grew up in Oakland, where he spent most of his life. He loved the Oakland Raiders, Oakland A’s and was a die hard fan of the Golden State Warriors. As a kid he loved baseball, and set records as a pitcher in Carson City, Nevada. He loved to laugh and joke around, and was a very kind person. Shane had no children and his favorite time in life was living with his aunt Gloria Randall Ghost in Wanblee, South Dakota.

Shane is survived by his mother Charlene Ceniceros; his niece Charlene Romero; and nephew Jaylen Ghost; his uncles Burgess Ghost, Todd and Stan Estes; aunts Maxine Ghost, Gloria Randall, and Jerilyn Means.

He was preceded in death by his step-father Alfred Ceniceros; his father Leroy Ghost; his brother Jody Ghost; his sister Charla Ghost; and his niece Melina Ghost.
