Diane and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers of comfort are with you and your family. Dennis will never be forgotten.. I have so many wonderful memories working with Dennis at the elevator. We played so many tricks on him and had many laughs together. He always kept the day fun and interesting..He would give the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. He may not have shown it but he WAS a softy with a big heart.

Diane, Shawn, Kim, Cory, and Families,

Where to begin? Ever since I can remember Dennis was a man of many words and even more jokes. He was always asking "what you "boys" up too or telling a joke or two or 20. He will be truely missed by all that knew him. Take comfort in knowing that he is not suffering any more to take a breath. I am sure everyone in Heaven is rolling on the clouds from the jokes that Dennis is sharing with them. The tough times you are going through right now will get easier as time passes bye. Dennis will never be forgotten. It was always funny watching people walk by the house and Dennis yelling something at them from the balchony and the people jumping out of their skin because they didn't see him sitting up there. If there is anything I can do, please don't hessitate to call.

~ Ellie (Brown) Bettelyoun Kadoka (5/11/2010)
Greetings to each and every one of the Lurz family. I knew Dennis as "Gumbo" when he was very small. I read all that he has accomplished and am very proud to have known him and his siblings. With love and friendship,Joan

Gumbo, a name not many would remember how or why. I do. Dennis had many brothers and sisters, guess I was a brother on the outside looking in. I remember most of the rest of you as well, but Dennis will always be part of what I am, and what we did......... Lynn
