Fred Taylorof Gillette, Wyoming, formerly of Milesville, South Dakota, died on Friday, May 21, 2004

A celebration of life for Fred Taylor, a beloved husband, dad and grandfather, 64, of Gillette, Wyoming, formerly of Philip, South Dakota, was held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, at the Milesville Hall in Milesville, South Dakota, with Pastor Lester Hall officiating. Interment was in the Milesville Cemetery. Closed-casket visitation was held one hour prior to the services.
He was born October 8, 1939 in Isabel, South Dakota to Phyllis (Monville) Taylor and Cecil "Buster" Taylor.
In 1958, through his good pal Eddie Morgan, Fred met Kyle Morgan in Milesville, SD. They married on December 1, 1962 in Philip, SD.
Fred worked for the White Thunder Ranch in Milesville, SD from 1963-64. He later moved his family to Philip where he worked for Farmers Union Elevator until 1990. Fred and Kyle then moved to Chadron, Nebraska where he drove truck until 2000. In 2000 Fred and his bride, Kyle, moved to Gillette, Wyoming. Fred drove truck for Nelson Brothers and was currently driving truck for K G Construction of Gillette.
The loves of his life are family, grandchildren, fishing, hunting, and truck driving.
Survivors include his wife Kyle Taylor of Gillette; three children, Brent Taylor and his wife Shawn of Gillette, Laura Smith and her husband Dean of Rozet, Wyoming, and Matt Taylor and his wife Amy of Gillette; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother Donnie Taylor of Wahpeton, North Dakota; one sister Bernie Armsted of Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Lou Baruth.
