John F. Clementsof Wall, South Dakota, died on Monday, September 3, 1990

John F. Clements was born September 22, 1923, at Philip, South Dakota, to Ernest and Elfreida (Meyers) Clements.
He grew up on a ranch northwest of Philip, and he received his education in the Philip area.
John was united in marriage to Colleen Buchholz on January 30, 1950, at Ottumwa, Iowa.
They owned and operated a ranch northwest of Philip until 1968 when they sold the ranch and moved into Wall. He built the Wall Meat Processing which he opearted until 1974 when he sold the company. In 1975 he started the Tri-County Garbage Service, which he operated in Wall, Wasta, Philip, Cedar Pass, and also in Midland and Belvidere at one time. He sold the garbage service in May of 1990.
John was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Wall and was a 40 year member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the Western South Dakota Buckaroos where he was presently serving as vice-president and director.
Grateful for having shared his life are his two sons, Robert Clements of South Portland, Maine, and David Clements of Kemmerer, Wyoming; two daughters, Connie Richards of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Nancy (Mrs. John) Frazzini of Farmington, New Mexico; five grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Clements of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Raymond Clements of Philip; three sisters, Irene (Mrs. Howard) Fortune of Quinn, South Dakota, Helen (Mrs. Verle) Louison, and Catherine (Mrs. Ed) Hawley, both of Rapid City, South Dakota; a special friend, Marlys Faber of Rapid City; and a host of other relatives and friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charles Clements.
