Gallyn Wolfof Quinn, South Dakota, died on Wednesday, March 20, 2024

Gallyn E. Wolf was born June 20, 1941, in New Underwood, South Dakota, the son of Fred and Wilma (Shaffer) Wolf. He grew up on his grandfather Shaffer’s homestead located five miles northeast of Quinn, and received his education in the Quinn area, graduating from Quinn High School in 1960. Gallyn continued to live on the homestead all his life.
Gallyn was united in marriage to Marlene Adams on December 20, 1969, at the Wall Methodist Church, and to this union were born two daughters Connie and Tammy. Marlene passed away November 25, 1995, and Gallyn continued to operate the farm.
On February 14, 2002, Gallyn was united in marriage to Ronda Schmit at the farm, where they made their home their entire married life.
Gallyn was a member of the Methodist Church in Wall.
Survivors include his wife Ronda; two daughters Connie Wolf of Wall, and Tammy Lyn Goodreau of Mitchell; a step-daughter Amanda Stuen of Black Hawk, and her three children Zeke, Madisyn and Josh; a step-son Tony Stuen of Rapid City; three grandchildren Elizabeth Marie Goodreau, Craig Shields, and Gabrielle Goodreau; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his first wife Marlene, Gallyn was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the Wall Community Center
