Guest Book

To CD's Family,
What a great man! Always a smile and a hand shake for anyone. CD lived a long and full life. He is going to be missed by so many here on earth, but he is also going to be reunited with the love of his life after almost 25 years apart. I remember as a young kid, we had just moved down to the Seidler place down on the river , when CD, Beef, Bart, Cory, and the rest of the crew were moving cattle down to the river, thinking to myself.....WOW these guys are SO TALL...course us Browns are quite short anyways but man! Now that I have grown up, these guys are still tall. Cherish your memories of your dad, grandpa, uncle, great grandpa, friend because those memories will live on forever in your hearts. May the arms of God wrap tight around you and give you strength during these difficult times ahead. Rest in Peace CD.

I wasn't able to make it to CD's funeral but watched it just now--what perfect songs. Cathy, you knew the end was close the other day when we visited. You were right--have been thinking of you all since then (yet I didn't realize there were so many of you). Memory: Kadoka auditorium at a basketball game--I must have been about 7. I finally found my dad after returning from the drinking fountain up the ramp. I was giving Dad's leg a hug when I looked up and realized it was CD instead. He didn't mind at all. Probably about the same age, I got to ride in his combine with him as he was helping his neighbor--Dad/Mom with harvest--like Colleen stated.
God bless you all and may you have great memories forever.

Another pillar of the community gone, but what a legacy he has left. Sincere condolences to all of the family. My parents went to school with Carolyn & CD, with myself going to school with the older 3 daughters and my kids getting to know some of the next generation. I know the last few years have been hard but you all can be comforted in knowing you did the best for him to be comfortable. Prayers
