Edward Nowlinof Aurora, South Dakota, formerly of Kadoka, died on Friday, February 10, 2017

Edward Nowlin was born June 19, 1956, the son of James A. "Jim" and Ila (Carlson) Nowlin. Edward received his education in Kadoka, and was a graduate of the Kadoka High School.
After receiving his education he was employed at Cyclone Drilling Co, in Wyoming, before attending SDSU where he received his B.S. degree in Veterinary Science.
He work for a few years at East Central Mental Health in Brookings as a counselor. After his retirement he lived in Aurora and managed and a local trailer court.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, and going for long rides in the country. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Edward is survived by two brothers, Patrick (Donna) Nowlin of Stoughton, WI, Richard "Dick" Nowlin of Princeton, WI, one sister Janice Nowlin of Kadoka, SD, and a special friend Peggy Gries of Aurora.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, February 13, 2017, at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings.
A second memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Kadoka.
Interment will be at the South Creek Cemetery northeast of Kadoka.
