Deanna Hilton Obituary

Deanna M. Hilton was born July 7, 1937 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Arell E. “Doll” Johnson and Fern L. (Crosmer) Johnson. She lived in Interior, South Dakota, where she attended twelve years of school, graduating in 1955. In July 1957, she married Billy L. Hilton, and to this union, were born four daughters. Deanna enjoyed counted cross-stitch and baking. Billy and Deanna traveled in their 5th wheel trailer to 49 states and also sailed on 11 cruises.

Survivors include her husband Billy Hilton of Rapid City; four daughters: Debra (Greg) Frank of Sarasota, FL; Donnelle (Tony Hermelink) Kehrwald of Olathe, KS; Brenda (Tim) Christensen of Colorado Springs, CO; and Bonnie (Brad) Johnson of Jefferson City, MO; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way; brother Harry (Florence) Johnson of Watertown; sister-in-law Pricilla Johnson of Stanwood, WA; brother-in-law Pete Dunker of Wall; two sisters-in-law Marilyn (Ron) Gartner of Interior and Lessie (Charles) Schoenfelder of Boise, ID; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Faith (Ted) Kunz; brother Daryl Johnson; son-in-law Frank Kehrwald; brothers-in-law Russell (Audrey) Hilton, Roger Hilton, and Jerry Hilton; sister-in-law JoAnn Sell; and parents-in-law Bruce and Helen Dunker.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, at Crossroads Wesleyan Church at 1823 Sheridan Lake Road in Rapid City, SD 57702.

Interment will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, at the Fairview Cemetery in Interior with Pastor Kathy Chesney officiating.
