Survivors include his wife Gladys; four sons David (Annette) Aughenbaugh of Rockford, Illinois, Steve (Carol) Aughenbaugh of Box Elder, Jerry (Kim) Morgan of Wall, and Scott (Brenda) Morgan of Letcher; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters Connie (Bill) Parsons of Milesville, and Kyle Taylor of Gillette; two brothers Edward (Bonnie) Morgan of Miller, and Keith Morgan of Billings; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Gerald was preceded in death by his first wife Mary A. (Larsen) Morgan on May 14, 1996; his parents; brothers Paul, Phil, and Kent; sisters-in-law Mary, Lorraine, and Norlene Morgan; brother-in-law Fred Taylor; and a great-nephew Kirk Michael Parsons.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, January 2, at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home in Rapid City.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2025, at the Crossroads Wesleyan Church in Rapid City, with Pastor Sonny Rosbrugh officiating.
Military graveside services will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday, January 3, at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
