MaryLou Wallner

of Eagan, Minnesota, died on Monday, December 23, 2024
in Minnesota at the age of 82

MaryLou O. Wallner was born to Mabel and Fred Foster in the Midland/Philip, South Dakota area. She was the eighth child of ten.

Marylou was an amazing grandmother and mother. After a long battle with Alzheimer's and complications from an infected gallbladder, she passed away peacefully two days before Christmas.

This year, Marylou got to spend Christmas with her husband, who passed away four years ago.

Marylou was a strong, hardworking woman who dedicated over 30 years to Northwestern Bell. In her free time, she loved canning, spending time at the lake, and helping to raise her grandchildren.

Survivors include son Kale (Shelly) Wallner; grandchildren, Kaylee, Brady, Brenden, Brooke (Eric), and Erica; and her siblings: Eldena Haerer, Bonnie Martin, Darlene Knight, Les Foster, and James Foster; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband, Jerry; her parents; and her siblings, Orville Foster, Faye Reuer, Jesse May Brewer, and Leola Schultz.
Funeral Service 5:00 PM Thursday, January 2nd at Klecatsky & Sons Eagan Chapel, 1580 Century Pt., Eagan.

Visitation 3-5 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Friday January 3rd at 10:00 AM.

So sorry to hear of Mary Lou’s passing, she was a beautiful lady! I grew up in Midland and went to school with the Fosters! When I was in high school I would help take care of Mabel! So sorry again for your loss ! Heaven gained another Angel!
