Ronald "Ron" Beaumontof Rapid City, South Dakota, died on Monday, September 6, 2021
|
Ronald William Beaumont, age 69, passed from this world surrounded by loved ones on September 6, 2021, in Rapid City, South Dakota due to complications from COVID-19.
Ron was born to William and Maxine (Stenberg) Beaumont on December 11, 1951, in Hettinger, North Dakota. He joined his brother, Mark, and the family grew to seven after his sisters, Sue and Michelle, and his brother, Dale, were born into the family.
Ron graduated from Hettinger High School in 1970.
Ron married Mardonna “Mardi” Felt Hulm and moved to Rapid City in 1972. After three years in Rapid City, they moved back to Hettinger, where Ron owned and operated the retail clothing store “Beaumont’s Men and Boys Wear”. Ron and Mardi were blessed with two beautiful children, Ronald Jr. “Buker” in 1975 and Megan in 1979.
After realizing how much he missed the Black Hills, Ron and his family returned to Rapid City in 1979, at which time Ron started his lifelong career with Forest Products Distributors.
In 2006, Ron married Wendy Lesselyoung and became a dad to Wendy’s five wonderful children: Jordan, Chaney, Afton, Mandy, and Connor. Ron and Wendy enjoyed their time together riding horses, being involved in the rodeo circuit, watching soccer, hunting with the boys, fishing, ATV’ing, and spending time with their kids, grandkids, and furry friends.
In 2020, Ron’s time at Forest Products came to an end, as Ron started an exciting new business venture with Wendy, as Co-Founder, Owner and Operator of The Salon Professional Academy (TSPA). Wendy will proudly move onward with TSPA, knowing Ron will be watching her every move from above.
Ron was never one who liked to sit still. He always had to be on the move. His many joys in life were being a Boy Scout Leader, coaching, motorcycle riding, hunting, fishing, ATV’ing, horseback riding, or doing anything to be outside in the beautiful Black Hills. Ron was always the life of the party, and his smile would be the one to light up the room and make anyone feel welcome and happy.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Wendy, and their furry family members, Dove, Zippee, and Ranger, all of Rapid City; children: Buker (Amy) Beaumont of Rapid City, Megan (Anders) Fjeld of Lierskogen, Norway, Jordan (Dallas) Smith of Mesa, AZ, Chaney Burns of Philip, SD, Afton (Gabe) Sandal of Wall, SD, Mandy Burns of Philip, SD, and Connor Burns of Mitchell, SD; grandchildren: Derek, Dallas, Annika, Nikolai, Nash, Beau, Boone, Zion, and Tyce; brothers and sisters, Mark, Sue (Todd), Michelle “Mimi” (Paul), and Dale (Nancy); their furry family members, Dove, Zippee, and Ranger; plus many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, William Beaumont and Maxine Morgan.
